Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join the NICU team. The role offers full-time hours (40/week), weekday shifts 7:30am–4:00pm, with a focus on neonatal care. Previous NICU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an occupational therapy program approved by the governing board.
• Must possess a current Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Evaluates patient functional abilities and determines if intervention is needed.
• Develops and implements an individualized treatment plan.
• Documents progress and treatment plans in medical records.
• Communicates results and care plans with physicians, nurses, patients and families.
• Directs and delegates tasks to COTA, therapy technicians and students as appropriate.
• Participates in department and facility process improvements.
