Job summary

Atrium Health Cabarrus NICU is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join the night shift team. 36 hours per week, 7:00pm–7:00am, with one call shift and two Sundays per six-week schedule, plus one weekend in four.

The unit cares for 25 weeks gestation and greater, with dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner coverage and a 24/7 neonate-focused staff. A BSN-preferred nursing program completion and RN licensure in the state are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state in which you practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) training is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process in NICU to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead in evidence-based decision making and communication to ensure the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
