Job summary

Advocate Health Cabarrus in Concord, NC is seeking an experienced RN to join the NICU in a 36-hour weekly, full-time night shift schedule. You will provide comprehensive neonatal care, coordinate with the care team, and ensure safety and quality in every shift.

The role requires an accredited nursing program completion, a valid RN license in North Carolina, BLS and NRP, and NICU experience preferred. The unit operates with 1:1 to 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratios depending on acuity.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Not for new grads with less than 6 months experience.
• NICU experience preferred.
• RN license issued by the state where you practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider Training) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive nursing care for neonates using the nursing process.
• Lead evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and maintain a safe patient environment across the continuum.
