Job summary

Atrium Health Cabarrus is seeking a skilled NICU RN to provide comprehensive newborn care on our 20-bed unit, including open bay and private rooms. You will work nights (7:00pm–7:00am), 36 hours per week, with a schedule that includes calls and occasional Sundays per cycle.

Requires an accredited nursing program completion, an active RN license in the state, and BLS; NRP is required. NICU experience preferred; benefits are provided per policy.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Not for new grads with less than 6 months experience.
• NICU experience preferred.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider Training) required.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled RN, coordinate and deliver comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Lead evidence-based practice and clinical decision making to ensure safety and positive outcomes.
