Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience developing complex, mission-critical products.
• Demonstrated experience leading software architecture and technical decision-making for large-scale software systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical authority and trusted advisor for next-generation avionics software platforms.
• Define and own software architecture, engineering standards, and technical direction across multiple products and programs.
• Lead the design and development of complex, safety-critical software systems spanning embedded, platform, application, and cloud-connected technologies.
• Drive innovation and influence long-term product strategy, technology roadmaps, and architectural decisions.
• Champion software quality through scalable verification and validation strategies, test automation, and continuous integration practices.
• Collaborate across systems engineering, hardware, certification, cybersecurity, and user experience teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor senior and staff engineers, fostering technical excellence throughout the organization.
• Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies, development methodologies, and engineering best practices.
