Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of embedded software experience.
• 4+ years of direct people management experience.
• Experience with certifications within regulatory industries.
• Experience with the development of real time software and/or avionics systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a software development team of ~15+ engineers.
• Provide development plans and career guidance for reports.
• Deliver performance feedback for direct reports.
• Provide technical leadership on programs/projects.
• Coordinate with 3rd party engineering teams.
• Manage COE development plans and monitor deviations.
• Forecast future demand and manage hiring for the team.
• Ensure training and compliance across the team.
• Oversee project development and COE coordination.
