Job summary
Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Sr Advanced Software Engineer in the NGA Flight Displays Platform to design and deliver cutting-edge avionics software. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in embedded software development.
- Experience across low-level embedded software (C/C++) or higher-level embedded, graphics/displays (OpenGL, Vulkan) domains.
Responsibilities
- Drive design, development and implementation of robust software for Flight Display System platforms.
- Engage in full software development lifecycle from concept through deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and architectures.
- Own software modules, deliver innovative features and contribute to technology advancement.
- Ensure seamless integration with existing avionics systems and optimize performance.
