Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a Senior Advanced Software Engineer for the Anthem NGA Flight Management System. You will design, develop, and integrate high‑complexity avionics software in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include leading software reviews, implementing robust FMS solutions, ensuring certification compliance (DO-178C), and driving continuous improvements with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in a technical discipline (sciences, tech, eng, math).
• 6–8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong C++ and OO programming skills.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum.
• Strong software architecture and design skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Core Software architectures for aerospace avionics.
• Integrate FMS software into development programs with compliance.
• Collaborate with systems engineers to define requirements and solutions.
• Lead reviews and provide technical guidance to teammates.
• Perform software integration, validation, and troubleshooting on hardware benches.
