Qualifications

• 10+ years in communications, journalism, editorial strategy, digital content or related work.
• 5+ years leading writers/editors/content teams.
• 3+ years building enterprise editorial strategies.
• 1+ years building content strategies for generative AI search or GEO.
• Experience translating data into content strategy and prioritization.
• Experience across matrixed organizations and influencing without authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead UHC Newsroom editorial strategy and operations.
• Develop enterprise-informed Newsroom content strategy aligned to business priorities.
• Identify opportunities to evolve storytelling based on audience needs and search behavior.
• Drive GEO and digital content strategy for AI-enabled search experiences.
• Build rapid-response channel action plans for emerging topics.
• Establish measurement frameworks and regular performance reporting.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align Newsroom with broader digital strategies.
