Mercy Audiology in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Hearing Technician to support clinical and administrative duties. You will perform newborn hearing screenings, document histories, and provide exceptional patient service alongside audiologists and nursing staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screenings utilizing OAE and ABR testing methods.
• Obtain and document patient and family history information.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Assist with patient check-in, registration, scheduling, and front desk workflows.
• Support hearing aid services, including maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborate with audiologists, nursery staff, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Follow safety, infection prevention, confidentiality, and patient rights policies.
• Adapt schedules and workflows to meet patient volume and operational needs.
• Learn and implement new audiology technologies and equipment.
