Job summary

Demant’s Hearing Screening Associates is seeking a part-time Newborn Hearing Screening Technician in Kansas City, MO. You will screen newborns in NICU and well-baby units, educating parents and coordinating follow-up as needed.

Training is provided; you will work weekends with shifts typically 3–6 hours, earning $17.00/hour with a $1.00/hour weekend differential. This role supports caring for newborns across hospital locations.

Qualifications

• One year or more of healthcare or childcare training/experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and operate hearing screening equipment.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct newborn hearing screenings in well baby and NICU units prior to discharge.
• Communicate relevance of screening to parents and staff.
• Maintain and use hearing screening equipment; assist with data entry and reporting.
