You will receive on-the-job training including annual certification accredited by the American Academy of Audiology, ensuring proficiency in early detection of hearing impairments and timely intervention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all policies and procedures, including PPE, vaccinations, and compliance modules.
• Evaluate patient readiness prior to screening to ensure reliable results.
• Collect newborn data and demographics; perform hearing screens and related services each shift.
• Provide education to parents on the relevance of hearing screens and early intervention.
• Upload screen results and state reporting by shift end; reconcile stats.
• Conduct screens efficiently without compromising quality or patient education/satisfaction.
• Inform responsible party and parent/guardian about results and necessary steps.
• Notify Site Supervisor of missed/referral babies; schedule outpatient appointments when appropriate.
