The role emphasizes patient education, accurate data collection, and coordination with hospital staff to ensure timely follow-up and effective care for newborns and families.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; CPR certification or ability to obtain on offer.
• Excellent communication and ability to educate families about screening importance.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Perform newborn hearing screens in hospital settings.
• Educate parents on the importance of screening and follow-up actions.
• Collect data/demographics and ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain infection control and PPE protocols.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and refer for follow-up as needed.
