Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an entry-level Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hospital-based hearing screens and provide parent education. The role includes on-site work at hospital locations, data entry, and strict adherence to safety and privacy guidelines.

On-the-job training and annual certification by the American Academy of Audiology are provided to ensure high-quality screenings and timely intervention for newborns and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Screen newborns for hearing in hospital settings.
• Collect data and document results per protocol.
• Educate parents on the importance of early screening and next steps.
• Upload screening data and reporting by end of shift.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety during all procedures.
• Coordinate outpatient scheduling for refer babies as needed.
