Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform newborn hearing screenings in hospital settings and educate parents about the importance of early detection and intervention.

The role is on-site at one or more hospital locations and includes on-the-job training with annual certification accredited by the American Academy of Audiology. The technician will screen babies, ensure readiness for testing, collect data, maintain documentation, and coordinate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens and educate parents on results and next steps.
• Ensure screen readiness and proper data collection for each baby.
• Upload results and reporting by end of each shift; maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide care and support to screened babies and families; escalate as needed.
• Schedule outpatient appointments for refer babies when appropriate.
