Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hospital-based hearing screens for newborns. This on-site role includes training and annual American Academy of Audiology certification to support early detection of hearing loss and timely intervention.

As part of the St Luke's Hospital team, you will evaluate screen readiness, collect data, educate families, and ensure timely documentation and referrals where appropriate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Screen newborns for hearing in hospital settings.
• Collect required demographics and document results.
• Educate parents about screening importance and next steps.
• Schedule outpatient appointments for refer babies when needed.
• Upload results and ensure accurate reporting by end of shift.
