Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is hiring a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hearing screens in hospital settings. You will be on-site at one or more hospital locations to screen newborns for hearing loss and educate families on the importance of early intervention.

The role includes data collection, documentation, and coordination with hospital staff, with on-the-job training and annual certification accredited by the American Academy of Audiology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform hearing screens in hospital settings for newborns.
• Educate parents on the relevance of hearing screens and early intervention.
• Ensure documentation and reporting for each screen.
• Screen readiness assessment and accurate data collection.
• Coordinate scheduling and referrals for refer babies when needed.
