Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform in-hospital newborn hearing screens and educate families about the importance of early intervention.

You will work on-site at hospital locations, following safety policies and ensuring accurate data entry and timely reporting of results, while providing compassionate care to newborns and their families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens in the hospital after birth.
• Educate parents on the relevance of hearing screens and early intervention.
• Collect data and perform screens ensuring proper documentation.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow safety protocols.
• Upload screen results and reporting by end of each shift.
• Notify supervisor of missed or referred babies and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
