Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an on-site Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform neonatal hearing screens in hospital settings after birth. You will screen babies, educate families on the importance of early detection, and maintain precise documentation under the supervision of hospital staff.

On-the-job training is provided, including annual American Academy of Audiology-certified instruction to support reliable screenings and timely follow-up care when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification required or obtained upon offer.
• Flexibility to work weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens in the hospital setting after birth.
• Provide education to parents on the importance of hearing screens and early intervention.
• Adhere to PPE, vaccination, safety and hospital policies; document results and demographics accurately.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and site supervisor on scheduling and reporting.
