Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hospital-based newborn hearing screens and educate families on early intervention. You will work on-site at hospital locations, with on-the-job training and annual American Academy of Audiology certification.

Responsibilities include data collection, accurate documentation, and timely submission of results. Must be flexible for weekend shifts and holidays. CPR certification required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current CPR certification required or obtained upon offer.
• Weekend and national holidays availability required.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens in hospital settings.
• Provide education to parents on hearing screens and early intervention.
• Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality.
• Record data and demographics for each baby.
• Ensure screen results are uploaded and reported on shift.
• Coordinate outpatient appointments for refer babies when needed.
