Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform on-site newborn hearing screenings in hospital settings. You will screen babies, collect data, and educate parents on the importance of early intervention.

Training, PPE compliance, and annual American Academy of Audiology certification are provided. Responsibilities include ensuring screen readiness, timely documentation, and coordinating referrals for follow-up when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens and provide education to parents on screen relevance and early intervention.
• Ensure readiness of patients before screening and maintain reliable results.
• Collect data, perform screens, and document per protocol; educate families.
