The role emphasizes patient education, accurate data collection, and timely reporting of results, with on-site work, PPE and adherence to safety policies. This entry-level position requires weekend/holiday availability and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform hearing screens and collect census data for each baby.
• Educate parents on the relevance of newborn screening and results.
• Upload screen results, billing, and state reporting by shift end.
• Notify supervisor of missed or refer results and schedule follow-ups.
• Maintain documentation and ensure patient confidentiality and safety.
