Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. in Pennsylvania is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hospital-based hearing screens for newborns, provide parent education, and ensure accurate documentation.

On-site roles at hospital locations include on-the-job training and American Academy of Audiology certification upon completion. The role emphasizes attentiveness, ability to work weekends/holidays, data entry, compliance with PPE and safety protocols, and collaboration with the HS Manager

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Certification or obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens and educate parents about results.
• Collect data/demographics and ensure accurate documentation for each screen.
• Upload screen results and ensure state reporting by end of each shift.
• Notify supervisor of missed or refer babies and schedule outpatient follow-up when needed.
• Adhere to PPE, safety protocols, and hospital orientations; maintain patient confidentiality.
