Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hearing screens in hospital settings and educate families on early intervention. On-the-job training and annual certification through the American Academy of Audiology are provided.

Role requires light-to-moderate physical effort, weekend/holiday flexibility, and strong communication skills to interact with families and hospital staff.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform newborn hearing screens at hospital sites.
• Provide parent education on hearing screens and early intervention.
• Ensure complete data collection and accurate documentation for each screening.
• Upload results and billing information by end of shift.
• Notify Site Supervisor of missed and refer babies.
• Schedule outpatient appointments for refer babies when appropriate.
