Job summary

Pediatrix is seeking an on-site Newborn Hearing Screen Technician in Winter Haven, FL. You will perform hearing screens in hospital settings, educate families, and ensure accurate documentation. The role offers training, including annual certification by the American Academy of Audiology, to help early detection of hearing loss in newborns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens and educate parents on results.
• Ensure screening readiness and accurate data collection.
• Document all screen results and complete state reporting.
• Schedule outpatient appointments for refer babies when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety protocols including PPE.
