Job summary

Pediatrix is seeking an on-site Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform screening in hospital settings and educate families on the importance of early intervention. Training is provided with annual certification by the American Academy of Audiology.

You will collect data, perform screens, and ensure proper documentation and reporting at the end of each shift, contributing to timely follow-up where needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or obtain on offer.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct newborn hearing screens in hospital settings.
• Educate parents on the importance of screening and early intervention.
• Ensure accurate data collection and documentation for each baby.
• Upload screen results and state reporting by end of each shift.
• Notify supervisor of missed or referred babies and coordinate follow-up.
