Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform in-hospital hearing screens for newborns after birth. You will work on-site at Fairview Park Hospital, completing screens, education for parents, and accurate data entry with emphasis on timely reporting.

This entry-level role offers on-the-job training with annual certification by the American Academy of Audiology, empowering you to support early detection and intervention for hearing loss.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon offer.
• Weekend and holiday availability required.
• One to three months of newborn/medical setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens in hospital settings.
• Educate parents on the importance of screening and early intervention.
• Collect data and ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and Site Supervisor regarding screened babies.
