Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to conduct on-site hearing screenings in hospital settings, ensuring accurate data collection and patient education. The role emphasizes timely documentation, coordination of follow-up for referred cases, and teamwork with hospital staff.

You will receive on-the-job training including annual certification accredited by the American Academy of Audiology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current CPR Certification or ability to obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens for eligible babies.
• Collect data and demographics and ensure accurate documentation.
• Educate families about the screening and results.
• Schedule outpatient appointments for referred babies when needed.
• Notify supervisor of missed or referred babies and maintain efficiency.
