Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a driven Sales Trader in our New York office to originate business in environmental and energy-related commodities. You will drive outbound prospecting, build senior-level relationships with corporate buyers and utilities, and convert opportunities into trading activity.

In a fast-paced, revenue-driven environment you will partner with traders and colleagues to identify new clients, manage risk, and grow a robust client portfolio across North America and international

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in sales, brokerage, trading, business development, or a related commercial role.
Strong prospecting and outbound sales skills with demonstrated ability to generate new business.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation abilities.
Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Drive business development and origination for environmental and energy-related commodities.
Proactively identify and engage prospective clients through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and follow-ups.
Develop relationships with buyers and sellers across environmental commodity markets.
Convert prospects into active trading counterparties.
Build and maintain a portfolio of corporate, utility, industrial, and project developer relationships.
