Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 7+ years of PM/engineering/operations experience in manufacturing.

New Product Introduction leadership for high-precision medical device manufacturing

MANIFEST Technology is hiring an experienced Project Manager to support New Product Introduction programs for a high-precision medical contract manufacturer. This role serves as the central point of coordination between customers, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Manufacturing, ensuring products move from prototyping to production with clear plans, disciplined execution, and effective communication. The Project Manager is the customer contact and internal leader for programs, responsible for delivering projects on time, on budget, and within agreed scope and quality requirements. This position is 100% on-site in Big Lake, MN.

Duration: Full-time

Pay Range: $95,000 - $130,000 annually; eligible for company bonus program

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with Sales and Technical Solutions teams to transition new business opportunities into the appropriate site.
• Lead customer interactions for individual programs with a strong focus on expectation management, communication, and issue resolution.
• Manage project and program-level risks, issues, quality expectations, and communication across internal and customer stakeholders.
• With limited oversight, direct and coordinate program activities including schedule adherence, program budget, milestones, scope changes, and design-to-cost targets.
• Lead personnel responsible for specific functions throughout the program life cycle and guide successful project completion through collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality.
• Partner with departments to align resource requirements, project expectations, timing, and deliverables.
• Assist with NPI transition and production ramp plans, partnering with Operations to ensure equipment, staffing, quality requirements, production quantities, and costing expectations are aligned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience in project or program management, engineering, operations, or NPI within a manufacturing environment; equivalent combinations of education and experience considered.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey business and technical concepts clearly to customers and internal technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams and projects while meeting stakeholder needs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs, including Microsoft Project, to develop schedules, allocate resources, and establish program budgets.
• Familiarity with medical device regulations and quality standards, including FDA guidelines and ISO 13485.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
• Ability to multi-task across several development activities.
• Ability to travel between our client's sites as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with account management or sales.
• Experience in a precision machine shop environment.
• PMP certification.
• Master's degree, MBA, or other advanced degree.
