Job summary

Lennar is seeking a New Home Consultant in Illinois to guide homebuyers from initial engagement to closing. You will use proactive sales techniques and CRM to ensure a seamless buyer experience, while maintaining relationships with visitors and coordinating with internal teams.

Responsibilities include generating leads, following up through closing, and keeping model homes and inventory in top condition. Travel locally to build broker relationships and stay informed about market trends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree and real estate license preferred.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in new home sales, real estate, or related field.
• Proven ability to build relationships and close sales.
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Engage visitors, establish relationships, and determine home buying needs using Lennar’s selling philosophy.
• Generate, process, and close home sales through self-generated or referred leads with the 10-5-2-1 selling approach.
• Provide consistent follow-through from initial contact through closing and post-closing activities, maintaining communication records.
• Maintain the Welcome Home Center, model homes, and inventory homes; communicate maintenance needs.
• Travel locally to generate leads from Realtor/Co-Broker referrals and self-prospecting.
• Develop knowledge of competitive market, products, and sales trends.
• Monitor daily customer traffic using company tools and collaborate with internal departments.
• Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive sales.
