Job summary

D.R. Horton is seeking a Sales Representative to manage the sales process and deliver outstanding customer service, guiding buyers from initial contact to home design and closing.

The role emphasizes sourcing new opportunities, building customer relationships, and collaborating with realtors and team members. Ideal candidates will have an associate degree or 2 years related experience, a vehicle and valid license, and proficiency with DRH Sales apps, MS Office, and email.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2 years related experience.
• Own a vehicle with valid driver's license and permissible to drive day/night.
• Ability to use DRH Sales applications on mobile devices.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and use DRH Sales apps.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Stand/walk for up to 8 hours; lift up to 25 pounds; various mobility tasks.
• Exposure to outside weather; moderate noise level.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate DR Horton’s value proposition, product vision and capabilities to potential customers.
• Uncover customer goals and challenges and establish DR Horton as the best solution.
• Overcome objections and close sales.
• Maintain documentation from sale through loan, options, and construction.
• Continually source new sales opportunities.
• Create and provide marketing plan for establishing new customer relationships.
• Network and perform outreach to realtors.
• Manage time efficiently to meet sales goals and work with the team.
• Maintain and expand database of prospects.
• Attend sales meetings.
• Develop and maintain rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members.
• Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct all business professionally to increase goodwill and company profit.
