Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a training coordinator for the 2nd shift in the United States. The role focuses on safety and forklift training, orientation program improvements, and ensuring new Team Member documentation is properly filed.

You will coordinate interpreter support and help acclimate new Team Members through the qualification process. The ideal candidate has training or production experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to present to large audiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior training or production experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Comfort presenting to large groups; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety and forklift training and continually improve classroom orientation programs.
• Ensure all new Team Member documentation is completed in a timely manner and submitted to their file.
• Provide annual training for plant employees and on the job training for Employees.
• Assess the need for interpreters in various departments for communications clarity and coordinate interpreter assistance.
• Assist in acclimating new Team Members in and around the facility and with the qualification process.
• Other duties as assigned.
