Simmons Foods, Inc. is seeking a Training Specialist to onboard new hires, support safety and process training, and integrate employees into the production environment.

The role emphasizes clear communication with management and hands-on coaching in a fast-paced plant setting. You will coordinate orientation, track qualifications, and collaborate with HR and shift leadership to ensure everyone understands responsibilities and safety requirements.

Formación

• Able to train and orient new hires in safety practices and production processes.
• Strong communication with employees and leadership; able to guide questions to the right department head.
• Experience supporting orientation, on-boarding, and cross-team training is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Trains and develops new employees and rehires in safety practices and production processes.
• Acts as first point of contact for new hires regarding position responsibilities.
• Guides new hires to the appropriate department head as needed.
• Introduces new hires to shift manager, production supervisor, and team leads.
• Escorts new hires to the production line during their first week.
• Trains current employees in other areas of the plant as needed.
• Escorts new hires to evacuation areas and explains safety procedures.
• Facilitates and supports new hire orientation.
• Compiles daily shift activity reports.
• Builds rapport with new hires to ease integration.
• Communicates with employees and leadership, including via email.
• Works with minimal supervision per HR directions.
• Records team member qualifications and evaluations using MS Office, SharePoint, or Alchemy.
