Job summary

Butterball is seeking a Safety Training Coordinator to lead new hire orientation, monthly safety meetings, and specialized training sessions. You will maintain safety documentation for audits and support risk assessments in a high-volume poultry manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include training, observing operations for hazards, and coordinating with HR and nurses on ergonomic evaluations and hazard assessments. OSHA 10/30/511 qualifications may be pursued during this role.

Qualifications

• Requires strong safety awareness and ability to train others.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Able to obtain OSHA 10, 30, and 511 training.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-the-job training for associates.
• Follow guidance from Safety Manager and supervision.
• Observe equipment operation and report safety concerns.
• Ensure proper safety training for new hires prior to assignment.
