Job summary
Halff is seeking new graduates who will graduate in December 2026 or May 2027 for a Graduate Engineer I, Water Resources to join our Water Resources team in Fort Worth, TX. The role involves working on flood risk education and planning, flood infrastructure planning, and design for stormwater systems for municipalities, governmental agencies and developers.
The position emphasizes collaboration to create cost-effective, maintainable, and sustainable solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering Degree.
- Must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or plan on obtaining within six months of start date.
- Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ArcGIS Pro.
Responsibilities
- Support project teams in the design and analysis of water resources design projects.
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analysis.
- Assist in the development of master drainage plans.
- Prepare and review engineering documents and reports.
- Prepare and review plans, specification and bid documents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
