Job summary

Halff is seeking new graduates who will earn their degree in December 2026 or May 2027 to join our Water Resources team in Houston, TX as Graduate Civil Engineers. You will work on flood risk education, planning, and stormwater infrastructure design for municipalities, agencies, and developers.

Ideal candidates will collaborate with internal and external clients, demonstrate strong communication, and contribute to cost-effective, sustainable solutions in a highly collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years in water resources/public works; new grads encouraged.
• ABET-accredited Civil or Environmental Eng degree (B.S. or M.S.).
• FE exam passed or within six months of start date; Texas EIT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support design and analysis of water resources projects.
• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analysis.
• Assist in development of master drainage plans.
• Prepare and review engineering documents and reports.
