Job summary

Halff is seeking New Graduates for a Graduate Civil Engineer in the Water & Wastewater Utility team in Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on pipeline and facility modeling, process design, and construction within civil engineering disciplines.

Ideal candidates hold a civil or environmental engineering degree and have 0–4 years of related experience, with CAD tools like AutoCAD and Civil 3D beneficial. This is an excellent growth opportunity with potential ownership in the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering.
• 0–4 years of experience in Water / Wastewater Utility projects and Water / Wastewater Treatment Design.
• Experience with AutoCAD is preferred; Civil 3D, ArcGIS, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, InfoWater desired.
• Strong communication, relationship building, self-motivation and organization.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects under supervision of a Professional Engineer.
• Support Water / Wastewater Utility projects including pipeline and facility modeling, planning, process design and construction.
• Assist in preparation of plans, specifications and cost estimates.
• Perform drafting CAD work.
• Perform calculations and analyses for design projects.
• Assist in permit applications and regulatory documents.
• Coordinate with surveyors, architects, and contractors; attend client meetings.
