Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's or Master's in civil or environmental engineering, with 0–4 years of relevant experience and familiarity with AutoCAD. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• 0–4 years of experience in Water/Wastewater utility projects and water/wastewater treatment design.
• Experience with AutoCAD is preferred.
• Desirable: Civil 3D, ArcGIS, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, InfoWater.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated and well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer.
• Support Water/Wastewater Utility projects including pipeline and facility modeling, planning, process, design, and construction.
• Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Water/Wastewater projects.
• Perform drafting CAD work.
• Perform calculations and analysis for design projects.
• Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents.
• Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors.
• Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies.
