Job summary

Halff in The Woodlands, TX is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Water Resources team. You will support design and analysis of water resources projects for public and private clients, working closely with engineers and clients to deliver practical, sustainable drainage and flood risk solutions.

Ideal candidates are graduating in December 2026 or May 2027, have FE eligible, and possess CAD/Hydrology software skills; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent.
• FE exam passed or to be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• Texas EIT license or ability to obtain within 2 years of employment.
• 0-3 years in water resources/public works; new grads encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Support design and analysis of water resources projects.
• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analysis.
• Assist in developing master drainage plans.
• Prepare and review engineering documents, reports, plans, specs and bids.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.
