Job summary

Decagon is seeking a New Grad Software Engineer in New York or San Francisco to join one of four engineering teams building the systems behind our AI agents. You’ll own end-to-end features, ship high-quality software, and scale to millions of users as you graduate between December 2026 and July 2027.

You’ll bring Python and TypeScript skills, proficiency in asynchronous programming, and a track record of delivering projects through coursework or internships.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed B.S. in CS, graduating between Dec 2026 and July 2027.
• Strong Python/TypeScript and async programming skills.
• Experience building and shipping projects through coursework or internships.
• Comfort debugging deep tech stacks and AI coding agents.

Responsibilities

• Join one of four engineering teams building Decagon's AI agent systems.
• Own features from design through delivery and scale for millions of users.
• Collaborate with product and design to create high-quality experiences.
