Las Palmas Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, offers a year-long RN Residency Program designed to transition student nurses to registered nurses with hands-on experiences and mentorship. The program includes advanced clinical training, monthly education, preceptorship, and evidence-based projects.

You will learn under nurse educators and a supportive team, while developing critical thinking and clinical skills through supervised practice.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required or obtained within 12 months of employment.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• RN License or Graduate Nurse status in the state of practice.
• No prior experience required; training provided.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care per department standards.
• Assist with admissions assessments and shift-based condition monitoring.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic responses.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and proactively resolve issues.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up.
