This year‑long, paid residency supports the transition from student nurse to registered nurse with hands‑on clinical experiences and mentorship from experienced nurse leaders. The program includes advanced clinical training, monthly education sessions, preceptorship, hands‑on simulations, and an evidence‑based project collaboration, starting Spring 2027.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications must be obtained within required timelines.
• RN license or Graduate Nurse eligibility in the state.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program (ASN/BSN).

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures and document care in the patient medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipate needs.
• Teach patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow‑up measures.
