Job summary

Banner Health in Mesa, Arizona offers a New Graduate RN Residency Program designed to help new graduates transition into a fully competent, professional nurse. The program places you on a unit with clinical mentoring, provides access to Banner Simulation Center, and supports development across multiple career pathways.

You will typically work three 12-hour shifts with weekend and holiday rotations, and live within commuting distance of the facility.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS card (through AHA, Red Cross, or ASHI) or ability to obtain before start date
• No more than 12 months of RN experience

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on assigned unit per physician orders and nursing plan of care
• Participate in preceptor-guided clinical experiences and orientation
• Complete competency assessments and skills verification
• Document patient care in the Cerner EMR and ensure accuracy of records
