Job summary

Banner Health in Glendale, AZ is offering a New Grad RN Residency Program. This full-time position helps new graduates transition to professional nursing, with mentoring, simulation training, and structured competency development.

Successful candidates will be placed on units with clinical preceptorship and opportunities across career pathways. New grads will work three 12-hour shifts, including weekends/holidays, and must live within a reasonable commute.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred; ADN considered at select locations.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain before start date.
• No more than 12 months of RN experience; healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan care with the team.
• Implement plan of care and oversee nursing activities.
• Document care and communicate with physicians and families.
• Participate in Banner Simulation Center training and e-learning modules.
• Mentor and orient new grads during a 12-month unit assignment.
