Job summary

Banner Health’s New Nurse Experience is a full-time RN residency program designed to help new graduates become fully competent nurses in our PCU-4D-Hosp units in Phoenix. Participants are mentored by unit staff and educators, with rotational exposure and pathways to specialty and leadership roles.

New grads will work three 12-hour day shifts with weekend/holiday rotation, complete Cerner EMR training, and access Banner’s Total Rewards package including health insurance, PTO, 401(k), and ongoing

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable at select locations.
• Current BLS certification required or obtainable before start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care per policy and standards.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient care.
• Document care and communicate updates to the care team.
