Job summary

Banner Health is offering a New Graduate RN Residency Program in Sun City, Arizona. This full-time position supports new graduates transitioning to professional nursing with clinical mentorship and structured development across Banner Health facilities.

New grads will be placed on a unit with preceptor support, comprehensive onboarding, and opportunities to pursue multiple career pathways within Banner Health.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice or a compact license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Relates throughout the interview process the experience, training and education needed to perform the job.
• Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and plans care, including discharge planning.
• Implements the plan of care and coordinates with the health care team.
• Delivers direct patient care and supervises staff as assigned.
• Documents care provided and patient responses in the medical record.
• Participates in unit/facility leadership and mentoring of staff.
