Job summary

Banner Health’s New Nurse Experience (NNE) offers a full-time RN residency program designed to transition new graduates into competent professional nurses within Banner Health facilities. The program includes clinical mentoring, a state-of-the-art simulation center, and access to a comprehensive development pathway.

Successful candidates will complete 12 months on an NNE unit, with shift patterns around 12-hour days and rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Ability to obtain required certifications before start date.
• Banner positions require at least 1 year of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care.
• Coordinate patient care with the multidisciplinary team and families.
• Supervise staff and mentor learners as needed.
• Document care and maintain compliance with policies and standards.
