Banner Health in Casper, Wyoming offers the New Nurse Experience (NNE), a full‑time RN residency helping new graduates transition to professional practice through hands‑on unit mentoring and structured learning.

Participants gain exposure to simulation-based training, diverse pathways, and a 12‑month unit placement. Candidates should hold an RN license, have a current BLS certification, and be prepared to start their nursing career within Banner Health.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted at select locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for patients.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary health care team to ensure quality outcomes.
• Mentor and precept new grads on assigned units.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
• Promote adherence to professional nursing standards and practices.
