Job summary

Banner Health's New Nurse Experience (NNE) offers a full-time Registered Nurse residency at Banner Boswell Medical Center in Sun City, Arizona. It is designed to transition new graduates into competent, professional nurses through hands-on clinical mentored experiences and a collaborative learning environment.

Participants rotate through select units, receive preceptor support, bedside coaching, and e-learning, with multiple career paths, leadership opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

Recent or upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Current BLS certification required or obtained before start date.
No more than 12 months of RN experience preferred.
RN license in state of practice or compact licensure required.

Responsibilities

Assess patient needs and plan care in collaboration with the team.
Implement and document evidence-based nursing care per policy.
Coordinate with physicians, family, and other care staff.
Provide patient education and discharge planning.
Participate in unit-based preceptorship and training.
Contribute to quality and safety initiatives on the unit.
Communicate effectively with team to ensure consistent care.
Support the clinical needs across multiple units as assigned.
Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
